State State Representative John Burnett is finishing his last year in office in the Missouri House. He cannot run again for the House seat he has held since 2002 because of term limits.

Now he is running for election to the Missouri Senate in the 10th District. His House district includes part of Downtown Kansas City, the River Market area, and the neighborhoods of Historic Northeast. John has been an outspoken advocate for our schools, working families, organized Labor, safer neighborhoods, affordable health care, and consumer rights. He has been a leader in the House and served on a number of key committees.

  • Served on numerous Boards and Commissions including Helping Hand of Goodwill, Historic Northeast Restoration Corporation, The Citizens Association, and the City Market Oversight Commission
